My students have ranged in age from 12 years old to 65 years old, with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. I teach in the Classical, Musical Theater, and Popular styles.

Voice Teacher (Contract), Doherty Memorial High School, 1994 to 2001

My duties as Voice Teacher include teaching proper vocal technique and preparations for auditions and performances, and coordination of Honors Recitals for students in the Music Division.

Music Director (Contract), Doherty Memorial High School, 1996 to 1997

My duties as Music Director included teaching classes in Music Theory and Theater Arts, conducting the chorus and the band, and supervising all activities of the Music and Theater Division.

Stage Director (Contract), Doherty Memorial High School, 1995 to 2001

Stage directed the school musical, The Mikado, 1995. Duties included blocking of entire show, set and lighting design, assisting in musical direction and working with the soloists. Stage direction, musical direction, set and lighting design, and conducting for Fiddler on the Roof, 1996. Direction of opera, operetta, and musical theater scenes presented for public performances and television broadcasts, 1997 to 1999. As Co-Director of Once Upon a Mattress, 2000 and Patience, 2001, my duties included blocking, lighting design, and working with soloists.

As the Music Theory Department Teaching Assistant, I gathered class materials, research, proctored exams, and tutored in music theory and sight-singing.

As Music Theory Department Teaching Assistant, I taught solfege and keyboard harmony to Freshmen and tutored privately. As Language Department Teaching Assistant, I tutored French and German, and gathered class materials.
